Introducing the ICON Collection

How do you celebrate a driver who has changed the face of NASCAR®? How do you honor an icon who defied expectations, broke countless records, and given legions of fans a lifetime of incredible moments to remember?

You create an exclusive iconic die-cast.

Lionel Racing's ICON die-cast is a legendary new finish reserved for the sport's legendary moments.

Inspired by the championship trophies that Lionel Racing creates for Goodyear at the end of each race season, each ICON car is fully plated in a gleaming chrome finish — the body, the chassis, the engine, the interior and the wheels. Then each one is polished to perfection creating a trophy piece that any collector would be proud to own and display.

Tony Stewart's Legendary Career Worthy of an Iconic Die-Cast

There is no question Tony Stewart loves to race. From karts to sprint cars to midgets to IndyCars to stock cars, he feels right at home behind the wheel of any type of race car. That's why it must have been hard for the three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup SeriesTM champion to announce in September that 2016 would be his last season in NASCAR®'s top series.

However difficult it may have been for Stewart, he felt it was the right time and right thing to do at this stage of his career. Going into his final season as a driver in the series, he has a resume that any driver would be honored to boast. In addition to three titles, the Indiana native collected 48 wins, 182 top fives and 300 top 10s over 17 seasons of competition.

With his legendary career winding down, Lionel Racing is excited to announce Stewart's first die-cast in the ICON Collection — his 2016 No. 14 Mobil 1 Chevrolet SS. Each 1:24-scale die-cast in this special collection is fully plated in a gleaming chrome finish, built on the premium ELITE tool and created using more than 260 individual parts and pieces.

Mobil 1 has partnered with Stewart as a primary sponsor on his No. 14 Chevrolet since the 2011 season. Together, they have visited Victory Lane nine times and captured the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup SeriesTM championship.

Now, Stewart fans can commemorate his final season by ordering his 2016 No. 14 Mobil 1 Chevrolet SS ICON die-cast. Stay tuned for more information on Stewart's other ICON Collection die-cast.
